Dean College To Unveil New State-of-the-Art Digital Studios and WGAO 88.3 Radio Station

Dean College will unveil its state-of-the-art Digital Studios and WGAO 88.3 FM Radio Station during Homecoming: For Alumni and Families this Saturday, September 28, 2019. The new space will put Dean College students, who are studying programs like Communications and Sports Broadcasting in the Dean School of Business, on the cutting edge of media production and broadcasting.

Tours will depart at 3:00 p.m. to view the suite filled with media production rooms, including a video control room, editing room and a TV studio.

The Digital Studios, housed on the first floor of Dean Hall, the College’s iconic and centrally located building on campus, has undergone major renovations over the summer months with the goal of inspiring creativity and providing students with access to the latest streaming and broadcasting technology and digital production equipment.

In addition to the upgrades in the Digital Studios suite, the Dean College Radio Station (WGAO 88.3 FM) has also undergone major renovations, all while remaining fully operational during the summer.
