Making a Difference
Since starting at Dean in 1995, Dr. Rooney has made a significant difference, leading the College through exponential
growth in enrollment, reputation, academics and financial stability with an unprecedented focus on student success. In a message to the Dean College Community, Dr. Rooney announced that she will leave office at the conclusion of the 2021-22 academic year, following a 27-year tenure as president.
Dr. Rooney has made an immeasurable impact on Dean. Throughout the semester, we celebrate the incredible growth and milestones the College has seen over the past 27 years and we look forward to building upon this success in the future. These areas of impact are just some of the many ways that The Dean Difference has been put in action on campus and beyond to inspire our Bulldogs to achieve unimagined heights.
