William Wallach '60

William writes, “40 years teaching Physical Education and Coaching. Member of the Dean Athletic Hall of Fame, Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame, Connecticut High School Coaches Hall of Fame, Guilford High School Athletic Hall of Fame, Connecticut Gold Key Award, and many more awards. I always gave my players credit for all the wins; they gave me credit for the losses."

Peter has been appointed as Chairperson of the Massachusetts chapter of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Ellen Bryant Snyder '68

Falmouth, ME

Ellen writes, “Ellen Bryant Snyder ’68, Jane Ahonen Johnson ’68, and Bob Brown ’68 enjoy another day cruise in Casco Bay, Portland, Maine. We have been gathering each summer since we graduated in 1968. We remain great friends and still laugh at the same old Dean stories.”

Michael Gelman '74

Finksburg, MD

Michael writes, “I retired in 2018 from the Baltimore County School system where I spent the last 25 years at Randallstown High School. I coached cross country track, indoor and outdoor track, softball, and golf. My final 18 years as Athletic Director. It was a privilege to coach 7 regional championship teams and 12 individual state champions. I was named Baltimore Sun Paper Boys' Indoor Track Coach of the year in 1997 and Region VI Athletic Director Year in 2018. I had the pleasure of teaching and coaching 2 generations of family student-athletes. I carried many of the lessons learned as a student and athlete at Dean into my professional career. My wife Kathleen retired in October and we plan on spending more time with our 5 grown up children (and their spouses) and 8 grands in addition to traveling. We are living our dream!”

'80-'89

JoAnn Emanuele Erhard '89

N Bellmore, NY

JoAnn writes, “I work as the VP of Operations for Star Funding Inc in NYC since 2002. I am a very active Mom in my local and school community. I am married to Jim since 1998, we have 2 kids (Douglas, 20 attends Farmingdale State College of NY and Julianne, 17 currently college searching). I have served on multiple school committees and PTA boards and held various executive positions since 2005. I was recently elected as a School Board Trustee for the North Bellmore Union Free School District School Board in May 2019 election. I was honored in March 2020 with a Distinguished Service Award by the W.C. Mepham High School PTA.”

Michael Antonellis '93

Old Orchard Beach, ME

After 15 years calling games for the Portland Sea Dogs, Ashland native Mike Antonellis is getting a call up to triple-A Pawtucket to become the new member of the PawSox TV and radio broadcasts.

Magdalena writes, “I got married to Michael Mason in July 2017. We purchased a home in Townsend, MA, in July 2019. I am currently employed as a Special Education Teacher at Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsborough, MA.”

Brittany writes, “James Crosby '15 and I met at Dean in 2014 at a Dean dance. We have been together for 5 years and got engaged on Thanksgiving. We plan to get married in 2022! James graduated summa cum laude with his associate degree in business and Brittany graduated with her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts.”

Carol-Anne Sicilia '15

Carol-Anne writes, “Kyle and I met in the cafeteria of Dean in 2014. I was eating chicken nuggets when this handsome lacrosse player walked up and asked for my phone number. The rest is history. We got engaged on December 28 in my family's cabin in VT. It's a tiny little log cabin in the middle of nowhere with a gorgeous mountain view. We now own a home together in RI and have two fur-babies, Dex and Phoebe. We are still in the planning stage and enjoying our engagement but are hoping to plan a winter wedding in 2021.”
