A slight chill is in the air…it must be the first day of fall! Below are a few places close by that are with the visit this fall.
The Big E – Technically a summer into fall festival, it should definitely be on your to do list. The Eastern States Exposition (aka The Big E) in Springfield, MA features concerts, rides, shopping and delicious food. The Maine building’s baked potato is a must! It runs until September 29th.
The Big Apple – Add hot cider and donuts to your fall traditions and stop by The Big Apple in Wrentham, MA. You can watch fresh donuts being made right on site. They also offer pick your own apples and hayrides.
Davis Farmland Mega Maze– Ready to tackle a corn maze? The maze at Davis Farmland in Sterling, MA can take from 30 minutes to 3 hours to complete! It has a number of in-maze games and even has a snack shack at the midway point. But don’t worry, if you do get lost, there are “Maze Masters” to help you out.
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, Roger Williams Zoo – Check out the ever-popular jack-o-lanterns! The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular runs from October 3rd through November 3rd at Roger Williams Zoo in Providence, RI. Walk along the Wetlands Trail at the zoo among thousands of illuminated pumpkins. Visit the zoo website to buy tickets in advance, as this event can get quite busy.
13th World – Sticking with the Halloween theme, Cumberland, RI’s 13th World (also known as Haunted Hill) is one scary adventure. Diamond Hill State Park is transformed into a frightfest where participants walk through horror sets, trying to survive the hill in one piece. Enter…if you dare!
