Five Fall Campus Events You Won’t Want to Miss

Classes are back in session and there are plenty of things to do here at Dean! Here are five fall campus events you won’t want to miss. 

Homecoming – Celebrate being a Bulldog with new friends, family and alumni on Saturday, September 28th. You have plenty of options for the day. View the Homecoming: For Alumni and Families schedule for your guide to sporting events, tours, information sessions and of course a BBQ! 

Oktoberfest – Head to the Campus Center on Thursday, October 17th for some fall fun! Oktoberfest will feature a mechanical pumpkin, a pumpkin painting contest, fall-themed treats including jumbo pretzels, and a 21+ section.

Fall Theatre Productions – If you are looking for entertainment, you only need to walk across campus! This fall the theatre department will be performing two shows — a drama, Radium Girls (October 17-20), and a musical, Wonderful Town (November 20-24). Visit the Dean College Box Office for tickets to either of these shows. 

Fall Dance Performances – Dance your way into the weekend! The Dance Faculty Concert (October 25-26) will feature faculty and staff choreography and a wide variety of dance styles. For both dance AND theatre, Arts Mosaic (November 8-9) will blend dance, theatre, music, and more in a mixed performance of student and faculty works. Visit the Dean College Box Office for tickets. 

Thanksgiving Dinner – Who doesn’t like TWO Thanksgivings? Thanksgiving Dinner is one our annual traditions at Dean. One week before Thanksgiving break, the dining team prepares Thanksgiving dinner for students, served by faculty and staff. This spread is filled with holiday favorites.
